As soon as Krishna departed, the sea, which had been beating against the shores, suddenly broke the boundary that was imposed on it by nature. The sea rushed into the city. It coursed through the streets of the beautiful city covering up everything. Even as they were all looking, Arjuna saw the beautiful buildings becoming submerged one by one. Arjuna took a last look at the mansion of Krishna. It was soon covered by the sea. In a matter of a few moments it was all over. The sea had now become as placid as a lake. There was no trace of the beautiful city which had been the favourite haunt of all the Pandavas. Dwaraka was just a name; just a memory.
Two things were worth noting down after my research,
1)
2)
I was mesmerized by the essence of Mahabharata and would like to put a gem from it before you. I quote,
!! adau rupacatustayım srjati yo devan puranukramat
brahmandam puramabjajadivibudhan srstva haratyantatah
srasta purvavadasya sarvajagato matsyadirupairbhavan !!
Essence:
(The Lord who) assumed four forms before Creation
(the forms of Aniruddha, Pradhyumna, Sankarshana and Vaasudeva)
(The Lord who) creates all of the gods
according to their respective natures;
(The Lord who) creates the universe
as the dwelling-place of the other gods such as Brahma;
(The Lord who) annihilates creation again and again,
then again creates and again sustains it, incarnating in various forms (such as Matsya, the fish)
May this lord protect us.
Remember, all the above mentioned points are absolutely scientifical and there is no space for scepticism. I will be pretty happy to see you soon with a more interesting topic next time, until then have a nice time.
