Adieu Sir Alex: End of an Era

Are the glory days coming to an end ?

25 years, a countless list of Domestic and continental and intercontinental titles add to that a never ending list of legends who played under him. This is the legacy of Sir Alexander chapman Ferguson. So the question that haunts most MANU fans –“ IS HE REPLACEABLE”?

People say the higher you are, the painful the fall. And one point that everyone would agree is the Red Devils are falling and falling fast. So, can David Moyes arrest this fall?? Or would he be a mere clueless spectator to the end of a golden era of the Reds, the doubts are more than ever. But most MANU fans remain sceptic, saying “We are the get backers’ man”; “Give him some time he has just arrived”.

But the statistics speak differently, the pundits feel that Moyes has had enough time to settle his initial hiccups and show progress. After all we are talking about the team which has won 19 league titles in the past 25 years. It may be the level of expectation from then fans or to manage the 9000 crore monetary sponsors, he is finding very hard to fit in the shoes of the great Ferguson.

It may take him a couple of seasons to re-create the magic he created with Everton for MANU, but the disturbing part is, the same time is enough to destroy the legacy.
