It is necessary to believe in yourself and overcome your doubts. Some of the “Futurist Speakers” assume over 90% of all restaurants will use some form of a 3D food printer in their meal preparations. Driver-less cars may be developed and the number of highways might increase in large to run these. Predictions like the continent of Asia might surpass the combined economic and military might of Europe and United States have been made. Many of us at some point of their life wish to know all their future but no one can predict what would happen in the future precisely. Predicting has a lot of power in it but knowing all the future will not help you in any way. Once the future is known, we quickly lose interest in trying to influence it. But prediction of a bright future will force you to achieve your goal and if you are positive about it and more importantly determined as well, then you will certainly make it through. -APARANJINI NIHARIKA D. THE #HASHTAG STORY Many times, we find ourselves clicking on posts that don't really matter. They are eyecatchy and is usually time saving to just scroll down the whole post in under a minute. Whether or not it is something worth reading is a moot point, we incline to switch off our thought process and blindly stream through the endless segments of #s. But it actually helps all these online websites and apps make heaps of money. In search of information, though you make a beeline for the first, dependable website, you may stumble upon a few other posts which may catch your attention and you tend to click on them. How did this ‘#’ even end up being used as a beginning for every trending topic or a hyperlink to various different topics? Not so long ago in the past, Wikipedia updated its definition as:"On many social media platforms, it is used to declare a searchable metadata tag called a hashtag. "If we look at the various uses of this 166 year old dear buddy, from being used as a number sign, as a cardinality of a set, as syntax in computing, it is now used as a ‘metadata tag’. Granted the symbol and its various conventions, there are and always will be two sides to a coin. This overlooked side being the consequences of such a mass usage. ‘Ambiguity’ arises when something is explained incompletely or when the point of view on a topic is unclear. Suppose an issue is being addressed in a post, like ‘Foreigners are hunting dogs.’ Whether the foreigners are referred to as hunting dogs or the foreigners are the ones hunting the dogs is pretty much unclear. And this poor chap, #, might just have been prone to it. Usage of # for important and appropriate reasons and topics is rational.
