your capabilities. If you consider
great people like Tenzing Norway
and Edmund Hillary who were the
first ascenders of Mt.Everest, they
terribly faced failure almost
twenty times to ascend the chain
of mountains. But later their
success said it all. "One should
develop a strong attitude and self
belief”. Nothing is impossible by
humans on earth if they develop a
strong dedication towards their
work. It is necessary to believe in
yourself and overcome your
doubts.

KEEP WONDERING…
The world’s technology has
changed a lot through all these
years and beyond the shadow of
doubt will change a lot in the
future too. Some of the “Futurist
Speakers” assume over 90% of all
restaurants will use some form of
a 3D food printer in their meal
preparations. Driver-less cars may
be developed and the number of
highways might increase in large
to run these. Predictions like the
continent of Asia might surpass
the combined economic and
military might of Europe and
United States have been made.
Many of us at some point of their
life wish to know all their future
but no one can predict what
would happen in the future
precisely. Predicting has a lot of
power in it but knowing all the
future will not help you in any
way. Once the future is known, we
quickly lose interest in trying to
influence it. But prediction of a
bright future will force you to
achieve your goal and if you are
positive about it and more
importantly determined as well,
then you will certainly make it
through.

THE #HASHTAG STORY
Many
times,
we
find
ourselves clicking on posts that
don't really matter. They are eyecatchy and is usually time saving
to just scroll down the whole post
in under a minute. Whether or not
it is something worth reading is a
moot point, we incline to switch
off our thought process and
blindly stream through the
endless segments of #s. But it
actually helps all these online
websites and apps make heaps of
money. In search of information,
though you make a beeline for the
first, dependable website, you
may stumble upon a few other
posts which may catch your
attention and you tend to click on
them. How did this ‘#’ even end
up being used as a beginning for
every trending topic or a hyperlink
to various different topics? Not so
long ago in the past, Wikipedia
updated its definition as:"On
many social media platforms, it is
used to declare a searchable
metadata tag called a hashtag. "If
we look at the various uses of this
166 year old dear buddy, from
being used as a number sign, as a
cardinality of a set, as syntax in
computing, it is now used as a
‘metadata tag’. Granted the
symbol
and
its
various
conventions, there are and always
will be two sides to a coin. This
overlooked side being the
consequences of such a mass
usage. ‘Ambiguity’ arises when
something
is
explained
incompletely or when the point of
view on a topic is unclear.
Suppose an issue is being
addressed in a post, like
‘Foreigners are hunting dogs.’
Whether the foreigners are
referred to as hunting dogs or the
foreigners are the ones hunting
the dogs is pretty much unclear.
And this poor chap, #, might just
have been prone to it. Usage of #
for important and appropriate
reasons and topics is rational. At
the same time, too much dwelling
in the current manner of its
practice will lead us nowhere
because it is inexhaustible!

A POETIC EVENING!
Your words are like the
delicate gossamer,
Spun with the emotions of
thoughts that wander in the
heart’s corner.
Your words are like twinkling
stars,
making me whim, letting me
into a universe of dreams.
They play like the winds
chime,
with emotions poured out
from drops of ink.
They leave me mesmerised,
and your w
