GNITS played a vital role in helping me reach my abilities . It taught me how to handle professional responsibility . As a final year student of Electronics & Telematics ( ETM ) Engineering , I ' m deeply inclined towards pursuing a career in Wireless Communication & Networks . I am grateful to the college for introducing this exclusive course . Along with my academic pursuits , I ' m an active member of the Indian Society for Technical Education ( ISTE ) as a Student Secretary at GNITS .
I ' ve always strived to be a leader and is often found on the forefront taking initiatives . I ' ve managed more than 67 coordinators under ISTE Student Chapter as the Student Secretary . I ' m privileged to be in the Top 40 students of GNITS that received training from Apple . Inc , a multinational company and brand on Maps at Mac Labs . My accomplishments include the completion of the Foundation Program conducted by Infosys Campus Connect , organizing a workshop on Small Satellites at GNITS conducted by ESCI . I represented GNITS in the Great Debate - An International Debate Competition conducted by British High Commission in 2015 . I ' ve also received the Certificate of Excellence by Young Leaders ' Consortium , Model United Nations Workshop in 2015 . Telestorm Association of GNITS under ETM Department has enabled me to explore various other skills , I ' ve won quite a few prizes in the events conducted by them such as JAM , quiz , debates , etc . My aspiration is to become a leader for the next generation . My
role model is Bruce Lee . He is in no way connected to the field of telecommunications , but his speeches connect the dots of life . My life turned around , when I came across a piece of literature on Bruce Lee . His strive for excelling at his craft makes me push my boundaries . Bruce Lee once said “ Knowing is not enough , we must apply , willing is not enough , we must do ” . With this motto in my mind , my objective in life is to build solutions to real-time problems faced in the industry . In this pursuit my parents have always been kind enough to lend their support as and when required . I ' m planning to pursue Master ’ s course in Telecommunications and Network Management . This course of study combines technical education with invaluable business insight and entrepreneurial skills which would enhance my knowledge and establish my career . I want to improve the lives of people in India . Our country is the second largest country in the world in the Telecom sector and connecting more than 700 millions of Indians on the Internet is going to be my long-term goal . My advice to all the juniors of this prestigious institution would be “ Go with the flow ”. GNITS is a launch pad to the students who wish to be the future engineers of this country . After Tim Cook ’ s visit GNITS has once again proved that it provides abundant opportunities to its students .
Life as an engineer can be tiring and monotonous but one should always update their knowledge with the recent trends . This can be one of the activities to reduce the stress from academics . Be enthusiastic and participate in many events but as always never forget the prime reason as to why you have joined this celebrated institute
BHARGAVI NARLA ( EEE 4 / 4 ) After four years at GNITS , it ' s safe to say getting into this college is the best thing ever ! You are one of the few people privileged enough to get into this college . Countless others would give anything to be where you are now . This college gave me an opportunity to hone my skills and explore without any boundaries . I ' m currently serving as the Vice Chairperson for IEEE SB . People used to tell me , being a first year student , you aren ' t capable of giving paper presentations . I was curious and I wanted to try it . I gave around three ( 3 ) oral presentations in my first year and secured first place in two of them . I gave presentations on Micro tf , Virtual reality , Witricity etc ,. I have done in-plant ship in BHEL . I ' ve worked on projects like Intruder alarms , smart lighting system , remote controlled robot . I received all the support I need from my department faculty and I ' m very grateful to them . Besides academics , I developed an interest in writing . And now I am a blogger at word press and a freelancer . I also have a keen interest in cultural activities as well . I ' ve participated in most of the events held in our college . I take inspiration from people younger than me . They face the inevitable challenges of growing up and learning to take responsibilities in their lives with extraordinary effort , this inspires me to work harder and better . As in the song Counting Stars ' EVERYTHING THAT DROWNS ME - MAKES ME WANNA FLY '. The more you work against your fears , the more you feel confident to overcome it .
My goal is to be a successful electrical engineer . I ' ll enroll into a Masters course related to my core subject . I ' ve realized you don ' t really have to make a strenuous effort to excel in academics . You just have to be attentive in class . Apart from academics , try to explore more out of books . Do some online courses , learn a new software . There will always be time for yourself . Everything begins in the mind and heart . Allow yourself to ask ' WHAT IF ?'! Think big ! Know your strengths , develop your skills . DREAM IT- BELIEVE IT - WORK IT - ENJOY IT . Go big or go home ! All the very best :)

GNITS is the best platform I ’ ve landed on to pursue my dreams Music and application development is all what I ’ m passionate about . Since my 1 st year , I ’ ve served as the CR which automatically inculcated many qualities I was in need of . I ’ ve organized events like freshers day , traditional day , farewell along with my fellow batch-mates ; and as an ISTE member , I have organized the paper presentation event during the technical fest , IGNIUM 2k16 .
