FY 2015 Measures
Increasing Demand for Services
As more and more Baby Boomers retire and the increasing impacts of Affordable Care Act are realized, the Arlington EMS system will experience a growth in service demand. In some respects, we are now experiencing some of the initial impacts of these demographic and legal changes to the EMS system. The Arlington Fire Department is developing, testing, and employing strategies that will address increasing demand in a manner that represents appropriate efficiency adjustments while maintaining excellent service levels.
