ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONS

Th Administration and Operations team is responsible for providing leadership for the department , overseeing strategic planning , capital projects , operating policies , public information , customer service , grant writing , coordination of three citizen committees ( PRCR Advisory Committee , Senior Citizen ’ s Advisory Committee , and Veterans Advisory Committee ), and other support functions . The Administration and Operations team also provides department leadership , fiscal management , accreditation , record keeping , staff training , and evaluation .

Strategic Goals � Continue to Implement the prioritized strategies and action items of the 2020-2030 Parks ,

Recreation & Cultural Resources Comprehensive Master Plan .

� Build high-quality parks and green ways for the growing Garner community by implementing the 2021 Parks Bond , which provides funding for projects including the development of Yeargan Park Phase 1 , the Buffaloe Road Alignment of the South Garner Green way , and White Deer Park inclusive playground and splash pad .

� Continue to build capacity in the organization to deliver quality parks , recreation , and cultural services to the community .
