FY2023-2024 Accomplishments
� Beacon Commerce Park completed construction of phase 2 of their new industrial park across from Amazon on Jones Sausage Rd . Phase 1 consists of 369,900 sq ft . Phase 2 is now completed and added 260,00 sq ft of much needed commercial property to the Town .
� Garner Business Park 70 Building 5 commenced construction and will add 225,000 sq ft of flex space use to the local market . � Garner Commerce Center construction was completed and added 128,000 sq ft of flex space . � GEDC initiated a Small Area Study for the Northeast Gateway Area and that study will be completed in June / July 2024 . � The third cohort of Launch Garner graduated from the program . Nine businesses completed the ten-week instructional period and began their six-month mentor ships in August 2023 .
