Safety & Compliance
The Safety and Compliance program reflects the Town ’ s commitment to employee safety and its efforts to comply with the regulations of the federal and state Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ). The Safety and Compliance program also includes training , which is necessary to maintain proper safety procedures among our employees . The program utilizes personnel from each department to form a safety committee to complete its mission . Town Council approved the addition of a Safety and Risk Management Officer with the adoption of the FY2023-2024 Budget . The position was filled November 2023 . All expenditures are dedicated to the operations of the program .
