Popular Annual Financial Report FY23 / 25
For a 10th year , the City of Arlington was recognized as a high-volume court with exemplary programs and events to improve roadway safety for drivers , passengers , cyclists and pedestrians of all ages . The award was presented by the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center and funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation .
Golf Digest ranked Dallas / Fort Worth , which is home to Arlington ’ s Texas Rangers Golf Club , as one of its “ Best Baseball Cities for Golf .”
The City of Arlington ’ s efforts to provide more inclusive communications for all its residents were recently recognized on a national stage by the Public Relations Society of America . Arlington received the organization ’ s highest honor , the Silver Anvil Award , for the Organization with the most impactful DEI Program .
Arlington received the 2023 “ Exemplary Our Driving Concern Texas Employer Traffic Safety Program Award ” by the National Safety Council and the Texas Department of Transportation .
The Government Finance Officers Association recognized the City of Arlington with an award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for its FY22 Report . Judges evaluated the report on reader appeal , understandability , distribution methods , creativity and other elements .
