Membership

IT IS MEMBERSHIP SURVEY TIME at FWYC. We launched the online survey on 21 Au-
gust and left it open for two weeks. We had a 26% increase in online participation this year
which is fantastic. But we couldn’t forget those Members who still love paper surveys. We
mailed those out 8 September, collected results for another two weeks and entered the pa-
per survey data into Survey Monkey. Just like magic, we will have all kinds of data to review.
The Membership Committee felt it was important to make sure we heard from as many
people as possible. As a result, we sent surveys to both Members and spouses this year. 187
Online Surveys and 39 Paper Surveys were completed.
Thank you to all who responded, we received lots of great comments and will start imple-
menting as many of them as soon as possible. Come to the General Membership Meeting
to hear about some of the results.
We are still focused on membership recruitment and retention, and are supporting numer-
ous Club tours. Thanks to all our Committee members for jumping in to help. 2018 has seen
a large increase in membership and we are doing everything we can to close out the year
strongly.
