Nominations Sought for Meritorious Service Award
Know anybody who deserves recognition for service to our club?
Each year our local chapter of the Florida Commodores Association (FCA)
recognizes a member or spouse of a member for their service to the FWYC. The
award is for work performed during the current calendar year. Any member
may submit a nomination and forms are available in the club office. Members
of the FCA and current Flag Officers cannot be considered. Nominations are
due by the first of December.
The award recipient will have his or her name inscribed on the Florida Com-
modores Association Cup which is on permanent display in the clubhouse.
Presentation of the award will be made at the annual Fort Walton Yacht Club
installation banquet and the recipient will be presented with a commemorative gift.
Don’t let service that excels go unrecognized.
Make that nomination.
