THANKS TO ALL who have come forth with notifying us of needed repairs. Some have
been as simple as the breakers popping at the Gazebo (GFI detection problem) to sand
needing moved for the WetaFest within 2 days. Gladly, things have
moved forward with few hiccups.
The Junior Room wall project has been completed and looks great. This
will facilitate the indoor needs during sailing lessons very well as well as
having a retreat for various Junior programs.
The Landscaping Committee continues to keep things weed free and
healthy. They could always use more help – watch for announcements of
their work days.
The Board approved funding for the South Docks and negotiations are in process to get
final bids and schedule nailed down. We are also moving forward on the rehab of the
Brinckmann Pavilion. By the time you read this, the flooring should all be removed in
preparation of redecking and installing new rail tops and new seats.
Lots to do! If you do notice something amiss, please speak up. Most things only get harder
& more expensive to fix the longer they continue to degrade.
