Membership By Scott and Jenny Bailey, Email: [email protected] WE SAY THIS EVERY MONTH but it could never be truer. It is the goal of the Member- ship Committee to focus on attracting new members to FWYC, retaining our existing membership, and getting the word out to our community about how great FWYC is. Please keep an eye out for the Pineapple Table in the Dining Room and the Castaway Room and remember it is an opportunity for our membership, rookies AND veterans, to enjoy fellowship and have the opportu- nity to meet some new and exciting folks. Our Club is growing at an exciting pace and we are all responsible for this together. This month we added TEN new members with ZERO resignations. We are getting inquiries from folks who have “heard” about how great FWYC is and that is all due to our members. Word of mouth can be a powerful tool and it sure seems to be working, let's keep it up!! The Billy Bowlegs Launch is coming back to FWYC after fourteen years and will result in tremendous exposure and opportunity for our Club. The Membership Committee will be coordinating volunteer help for this huge event. Also keep an eye out for some new events starting soon like “Mommy and Mimo- sas” coming in June. That will be a lot of fun. Our Pineapple Table kicked off on 8 April and was a great success. Some of our com- mittee members were able to support this inaugural event, so thank you Diana Moore and thank you Mke and Wini Jimmerson. The Club is growing, the weather is be- coming really nice, our days are longer, and boating events are picking up. We are hitting our stride so thank you to you, the membership, for helping us grow FWYC. 15
