THE ECSA SAILING LESSONS continue to be
packed with little ones learning to sail. The Mem-
bership Committee handed out Event Memberships
for the parents to use during the week of their child’s
lessons. We've signed up several Juniors and hope to
have some new Members join as well.
Mommies, Mimosas and More held its inaugural get
together on June 24th. We met our goals for atten-
dance and it was a fantastic event with lots of new
members who also brought friends with them. We
had a pool for the kids and a volunteer babysitter
so the Mommies could enjoy their time. Just a huge success. Word of mouth is spreading
about how great our Club is and this is just one of the events that is the talk of the town.
We know of at least one application that has been submitted as a direct result of this oc-
casion. This would not have been possible without the hard work of Director Brooke Harri-
son and Director Wini Marquez.
The Pineapple Table sounded like a fantastic idea but it has not been met with the ex-
citement we hoped for. As a result, we have removed all but one of the signs from around
the club and we will remove the powerful item from our dining tables. However, should a
member wish to encourage the spirit of the Pineapple, they will be more than welcome to
request that the staff place it upon their table.
The Membership Committee will begin to imple-
ment our Membership Survey for 2018. We are
coming up with a list of questions
