Bubbles and Balloons with the Junior Program was a great success. For more informa- tion on upcoming events, please contact Director Diane Wells and keep an eye on the club bulletin board. FWYC competed in the Blue Water Sailing Club’s Sailfest Regatta. The Wilusz’ on Viperator came in First Place and the Black’s on Pellirrojas came in Second Place. Way to represent Fort Walton Yacht Club! WNFR continues each Wednesday with about a dozen boats competing each week. Summer Series (small boat racing) begins on June 17th. The Billy Bowlegs Regatta will be held on June 9th & 10th including the traditional Pirate Party on Saturday evening with food and entertainment. Everyone is invited to attend the Pirate Party. Our Entertain- ment Committee will keep us up to date as the details emerge. The 2018 Spring Fling came to conclusion on Saturday with approximately fifteen cruising boats participating. Not all cruisers were able to make it the entire week, but some joined in on the raft up on the Saturday before and the Saturday after at the 331 Bridge. New- comers to the group and seasoned cruisers were all in good spirits. Everyone is looking forward to doing this again in the Fall. June 23rd brings us the annual Summer Sailstice Raft Up. Join us on the water for this WORLD-WIDE event. We will raft up at 1:00 near Smack Point. To date, we are the only group between Tampa and Houston that have signed up to participate. Join in the fun of an afternoon raft up and help support clean water and clean boating in our local water- way
