Letter Log July 2019 30° 25.60’N 86° 35.58’W Vice Commodore's Report Thank you, Billy Bowlegs Launch Parking Lot Volunteers!!! Your help is greatly appreciated: Jon Meliferas, Leslie Hanley, David Seaton. This group and I managed traffic and guests all morning into and around the parking lot and answering questions at the gate. Parking duty is always a challenge and these volunteers worked hard and pulled it off without a hitch! Thank you so much for your time and attention! Verification of documentation for our Wet Slip Renters will continue throughout the month and unfortunately, some of our wet slip billing information has been incorrect. During the past week, we have measured slips and boats to ensure that proper fees apply. Some of our members may see an increase or decrease in the fees payable for wet slips. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The hoist is operational and our procedures will be reviewed and updated as soon as possible. Anyone listed as an operator in the office, maintains their status as an operator of the hoist. The hoist is locked and you must retrieve the key from the office and have been checked out to use the hoist. If you would like to be checked out, please contact me to arrange training. Thank you to everyone who has provided support during this past month about issues pertaining to the office of Vice Commodore. I appreciate you and look forward to our continued relationships in future endeavors.. See you around the club, Vice Commodore Shari Seaton 4
