Page 12 - Attention WOW Ladies WOW - Any Female Airman Project The Women on the Water (WOW) continues its project of support for Air Force women who are serving us and our country in foreign assignments. Please help spread the word about this. Let’s celebrate Independence Day at the WOW Luncheon, Thursday July 3rd. Social time 11:30, lunch at noon. Prizes, Fun & Food! The site has volunteer Airman "contacts" on the "Where to Send" page of AnySoldier.com. They list what the folks they represent want and need. All the Airmen involved in this effort are military volunteers stationed in areas that are overseas. Everything is shared. A collection box is in the office for any Fort Walton Yacht Club members who would like to donate to this very special project, even though you may not be a member of WOW. Of course, any member of WOW will be happy to deliver your contribution. Monetary donations will also be appreciated to help pay the cost of shipping our gifts to our lady Airmen. Thank you for your interest and participation. Let's make this a major statement of our appreciation for those who serve us. Lynne W. Reynolds, Project Chairman Don’t forget the WOW Cocktail Party on Thursday, July 17, at 5:30 p.m. As always, a light meal is available in addition to the special drinks. Your hostesses for July: Brownie Pemberton and Harryette Cappadona. Some of the clever flip flops decorated for the June WOW Luncheon. ~ Fort Walton Yacht Club, Established in 1951 ~
