From The Office
The month of December has been fast and furious. So far this month, we have
successfully planed, prepared and served the Institute of Senior Professionals,
Warren Averett CPA’s, WOW Dirty Santa party, Merrill Lynch, FCA, Ben
Anderson, 359th Squadron at Eglin, Century 21 Christmas, and the Eggnog party.
In addition, we hosted the wedding of Michelle McGhee and William Freeman.
Next up is First City Bank Luncheon, Chili Cook-off, Mitre Christmas, SOFPREP
Christmas, Jill Ray Wedding, Breakfast with Santa Clause and the Commodore’s
Ball on New Year’s Eve.
Almost everyone that has had their party so for this month has booked already for
next year. We believe that shows that the events were very successful.
Next month we have the Change of Watch dinner, League of Cities Convention,
Son’s of Italy meeting, Corvette Club meeting, the first two Viper Winter Series, the
start of the Zevin Winter series for big boats and Frosty Nipple Series for small
Portsmouth rated boats.
The numbers are still looking up and we will have a record sales month to wind up
the year. Membership continues to grow and when all is said and done 2019 has
been a great year for the club. We ended the year with 323 dues paying members
compared to 296 a year ago.
