Page 3 The Commodore’s Corner Happy New Year! I am always excited with the change of the year. A new year presents so many opportunities to us. As we look to the year behind and realize the journey it took us on, I can't help but feel a little excitement for what is in store. find a time that we are not doing something on the water. (And, the best boat is someone else's...) Talent investment requires a little more commitment, but really not that much. If you are committing your talent to the club, you are committing your time as well. Opportunities to invest your talent abound. The most visible opportunities are serving as Officers, Board Members or on Committees. There are always organized self-help days and many times I have seen members participating in un-organized self-help days. We invest our talent when we see an opportunity to make something a little better and then take the action to get it done. This year, let's all strive to find ways to improve our club.
