SOME OF FWYC'S BIGGEST EVENTS of the year are coming up this month and next. The
Boat Parade and Chili Cook-off are on 1 December. The Eggnog Party on 9 December,
offers our members a grand holiday cocktail party. The Commodore’s Ball on New Year’s
Eve starts at 6 pm and should be a memorable occasion, culminating with a toast to
our 2019 Commodore, Craig Stoldt. On 5 January we have our Change of Watch and
Awards Ceremony. It will be a chance to celebrate our accomplishments of the year and
to welcome our new leaders for 2019! Please consider joining us for these traditional FWYC
events and celebrations!
Boy, what a year! We have some amazing members of this club who enjoy the club im-
mensely and give back as much as they take away. Those members make this such a
wonderful place, as they keep giving and giving so that we all can have a better yacht
club experience. Many of these members go unnoticed, unrewarded, yet hopefully feel
proud of their accomplishments. These members are the life-blood of our Club and the
reason this is such a special place.
