Author and Captain Skip Rowland and his wife, Denise joined us for the spaghetti dinner and presentation about their adventures on the high seas. I must say, if you missed this event, I am sorry. Even after hours on the water and a long day of racing, the crowd could not get enough of Skip and Denise’s experiences sailing around the world. Everyone en- joyed meeting the couple, purchasing their books, and having a chance to speak with them. December 1st brings us the Annual Boat Parade and our in-coming Fleet Captain has scheduled races for the 2019 Frosty Nipple small boat regatta beginning in December. Check the calendar! If you are a small boat sailor, don’t miss this opportunity. Thank you for the opportunity to coordinate the efforts of our fleet this year. We would not have had a successful year without the expertise and generosity of our club members. I truly appreciate the chance to have had a hand in helping and working with our board in a positive and supportive role. I wish nothing but the best for our club in the coming year. It has been an honor to serve. 10
