Commodore’s Report
What Next?
The last few weeks have changed our lives in ways most would never have imagined.
And, obviously, there are more impacts to come. The Flags and Club Manager have been
monitoring the government mandates, working with “outside” regatta organizers and
trying to keep abreast of a very dynamic situation. Then changes and innovations that
have been implemented at the club are in concert with the Florida regulations from Gov-
ernor Desantis. These offerings will, hopefully, be a service to our our members while
helping to maintain employment for some of our staff.
Hopefully, you are all receiving the updates via our “info” emails. If you learn of anyone that is not receiving
those emails, have them call the office and confirm their email address on file. I know many of you like and use
Facebook, but that can be viewed by the world and some data we are disseminating is best restricted to mem-
ber-only communications.
What a shame we cannot enjoy the spring weather in the way we are accustomed.
