Fort Walton Yacht Club Letter Log April 2018 30° 25.60’N 86° 35.58’W FWYC Capdevielle News Viper Fun Day MARDI GRAS CAPDEVIELLE A BIG thank you to Danny Gross, Kip Keelin, Mathew Bell and Nitin Bawa for representing FWYC and participating at New Orleans Yacht Club in the first Capdevielle Regatta of 2018. They had a lot of fun and learned even more!! Come on down and sail the FWYC Viper 640 on Saturday April 14 from 11am to 3pm. Anyone interested in learning to sail the Viper 640, getting involved with the FWYC Junior Team, Capdevielle, Womens Viper Sailing or just wants a ride is welcome. GYA SPORTBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP The GYA Sportboat Championships is April 7-8 at Gulfport Yacht Club. This is an open event which means any and all Viper 640s are eligible to attend. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Please sign up by responding to [email protected] with the time you would like to sail. We will be leaving the dock at 1 hour intervals starting at 11 and ending at 2. OPENING REGATTA Opening Regatta is the next club Capdevielle event on the list. If you are interested in representing FWYC contact Deborah at [email protected]. WOMEN'S VIPER SAILING Women’s Viper Sailing will start Thursday April 12 at 5pm. April 12 5:30pm Choose your pasta, meat and sauce. Watch it made especially for you!
