IT IS THE GOAL of the Membership Committee to focus on attracting new members
to FWYC, retaining our existing membership, and getting the word out to our community
about how great FWYC is. Based upon the number of applicants we have right now, NINE
for this month as of this writing, I would say the Club is doing a great job!
Our Membership Committee members have been busy sharing FWYC with folks interested
in becoming Members. Please take the time to thank Commodore Faye Black and Direc-
tor Brooke Harrison for showing off our Club and our incredible Sunday Brunch to potential
new members. Both interactions resulted in applications turned in right away. The Front
Office has also been really good about steering membership inquiries our way and we
have been busy working the phone and emails trying to get them
signed up. These are exciting times for FWYC.
We would also like to thank Diana Moore who has been visiting
many FCYC clubs via land in her RV. She was able to share a lot
of great information she gathered from these other clubs which
we hope to implement and make FWYC even better than it is. We
would like to introduce the “Pineapple Table” during Dining Room
hours; the pineapple is the International symbol for “Welcome”.
One of the large tables will be designated with a Pineapple cen-
terpiece, showing all members – new and seasoned – that this ta-
ble is a place to gather and
