VESSELS

Exposing the lives and experiences of eight ordinary women journeying separately but cohesively, I entangle myself with each personality to seize the moments of brokenness, mending, healing and restoration. I wrote Broken Vessels because so many women get stuck in a place of hurt in their lives and they continue to go in cycles of pain. The scripture for Broken Vessels is Jeremiah 18:4. This is where the potter has the clay in his hands and it is marred (bruised, broken, or damaged) and he makes the clay into another vessel. I want women to become whole and be transformed into the woman they were destined to be.

Q: What feedback have you received from Broken Vessels?

A: My feedback from Broken Vessels has been awesome. My readers bother women and men have given me such positive feedback and their passing the book to other family

members and friends. Yes, it is accomplishing the purpose and that’s for illumination and transformation to take place through the power of a testimony from the characters of the stories including myself in the book.

Q: Where do you see Broken Vessels Network in the next few years?

A: I see Broken Vessels Network in the next few years going global. I believe we will reach a mass of women and men whose lives will be changed by the ministry of Broken Vessels. We are currently working on Women’s Conferences, Stage Play, Short Film and making Broken Vessels a global brand.

Q: What advice would you give to those who are interested in pursuing writing as a career?

A: My advice to up and coming writers is to be original. Let your readers know you and your voice. I believe when you are transparent readers can identify with your human mistakes and flaws. Through this you are able to inspire, encourage and empower them with hope and transformation.

Q: Please give some words of inspiration, to those, both young and old, to take with them for the future.

A: There is a person that you become because of the pain you have endured in your life which has shaped the way you connect with people and society. You must forgive yourself and anyone that hurt you so that you can become the person you were destined to be. Always remember even in our pain, God is still with us and wants the best for us.
