BROKEN

When did you first start writing?

A: I started writing at age 12. My first writing contest was in elementary; however, I didn’t write again until age 26. I wrote a poem for a co-worker’s anniversary “A Table for Two” that brought her husband to tears. His response made me reach back to the gift I left as a child.

Q: Who has been the biggest motivator in your life?

I was reserved at first until I realized my stories could change someone’s life. It’s called a Testimony.

Q: Tell us about your book, Broken Vessels.

A: This book captivates the essence

of living life with the pain and mask of unforgiveness eating away and fermenting the heart while piercing the soul.

A: I would say my mother motivated me to write. She always encouraged us to use whatever talent we had. I don’t believe even she knew the impact that being an Author would have on my life. She has always supported whatever I chose to become or do throughout my life.

Q: What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a writer?

A: My biggest challenge as an Author is being transparent. Through the books I have written they have opened up chapters of my life where forgiveness had to be applied.
