July 2014-New Orleans, LA celebrated BIG, as the 11th Annual McDonald's 365 Black Awards show paid tribute and honor to some of the community's most achieved African Americans. Fuzionz Magazine and TV was a part of the celebration as we watched the stars grace their way onto the Golden Carpet at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. We were able to capture a piece of this star-studded event which was hosted by Janell Snowden. The event took place during the Essence Festival. The 2014 honorees included: Producer Will Packer, Rev. Al Sharpton, CEO of KWL Enterprises, Kevin Liles, Pro Ball Player Dhani Jones, New York Times best selling author, Iyanla Vanzant, Restaurant Owner, Henry Coaxum, young entreprenuers Gabrielle Jordan Williams and Skyler Grey. of the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Dr. Sherry Blake, therapist to the stars and Actress Nicole Beharie were, also, among the many other pioneers who walked the Golden Carpet. This noteworthy event is definitely one worth celebrating, so mark your calendars for next year to experience this historical moment and join the many who will be celebrating in honor of our community's greatest achievers.
