going to be a tale of three different short stories. The first story I was writing became so good that I decided to make the entire book about the first story.......AHA!! When I finally finished the book I was so happy I went that route then to do it the original way I first set out to do” she responded. She told us she has two favorite authors. The first one she has always looked up to is Terry McMillan. “She marketed herself and I remember reading an interview about how she would sell her books out of the trunk of her car. I myself did the same thing. She basically marketed herself and that's the way I do for myself. From there on, someone gave her an opportunity to have one of her books on the big screen and she was out there.....the rest is history. This is my dream as well. I know if I continue to push and work hard and keep God on my side, I can accomplish the same things Ms. McMillan did. My second favorite Author is Steve Harvey. For someone that came up from a stand-up comedian, to now being an Author/ Director/ Game Show

Host/Radio Host/ Talk Show Host, he’s really done it well. His books are very meaningful and very important when it comes to relationships and just being good citizens in life. I love the fact that he always put God first and that's great, because without God you're nothing! I love also how, after his book “Think Like A Man” was a success, he then had the opportunity to have his book on the big screen. Those are two great people I'd love to meet one day,” the Author said. Her advice to someone who wants to be an author is never give up! “There will be doubters who will tell you it will never happen, give up, don't quit your day job, it's hard work and I don't see it ever happening with you, they turn away thousands of people and their manuscripts everyday so.........these are the things I would hear from people who were supposed to be more supportive. It would hurt that they didn't feel that I could be out there like the next author. I love to prove people wrong, so when someone tells me I can't, I show them I can! Make sure that this is something you really want, because once you do your first book you always have to follow up with a second, third and so on, because people are going to want to read your stuff. Stay focused and never let them see you sweat! KEEP GOD FIRST! Talk to God all day, every day for guidance and support. Make sure you get your stuff copy written and be careful of showing your idea's around until they are protected. Keep your head up, drink plenty of coffee, and reach for the stars,” she said. :) Author Angie Christine’s words of encouragement.....”Believe in yourself and others will believe in you. Thank God every day for letting you see another day. Stay focused!”

Author Angie Christine dedicates this interview to one of her best friends from childhood who passed away from cancer on November 1, 2014-Amiri Karma Stanley. "Love you buddy! R.I.P"
