Author Angie Christine was born and raised in Brooklyn New York to Johnny and Betty Hitt. She knew at an early age, she would one day be in the media's attention. Her dream was to become an actress/director/writer. “I'm funny, I love to cook, and I'm a very hard worker,” she told us in a recent interview. Angie’s biggest inspirations in life were her parents, as they were her biggest fans. Sadly, her mother passed in 2006 of breast cancer, so she wasn't there to see Angie’s first book in 2009. Her father, however, was alive at the time when the Author’s book came out. Author Angie Christine started writing at the age of 5. She would write short stories and then invite some of her friends over to read and act out some of the scenes she had written. “My parents had this huge tape recorder and they would let me record myself telling my stories, then we would listen to the recording.” My biggest motivation was the excitement of maybe one day being on TV. I would watch different shows like the Facts of Life. I would watch Kim Fields act, get laughs, applauds and I would tell my family, I can do that too!” she stated. The author also talked about her latest book "The Fire-

man" and what inspired her to write it. This is what the Author relayed, “Well, being an ex-officer from Brooklyn, we always would watch movies and books about Police Officers. I had a lot of friends who are Firemen and I felt I would love to do a story about one. I look up to firemen because of the courage they have to run into a burning buildings and save people.
