he sought out opportunities to cultivate the craft he wanted to be a part of. Reginald’s mother and stepfather would later move the family to California when he was ten; however, Reginald would soon return to Texas. When he was in the 6th grade his mother came to Texas for a visit. She had gotten information that they were shooting a film called “Book of Numbers.” Little did Reginald know that he was predestined for an appointment that would be the onset of his career. His mother was working at a beauty salon, at the time and a person whom she had gotten information from, told her that they were looking for extras for this particular film, so she took Reginald with her, in hopes of doing extra work. Before they left, the producer and director, Raymond St. Jacques, saw Reginald, took pictures of him and decided to write a lead role in the film for him; thus, “Book of Numbers” would be his first film. “I've said it in several interviews before, if you have a desire to do something in life and you're really passionate about it, “The Great Spirit” will put you in a position to draw what you need to you. I really believe in my heart that's what happened,” Reginald said.
