Nineteen year old Cheyenne Woods is from Bemidji, MN. She currently attends college at Northland Community and Technical College and plans to transfer to a four-year school. Cheyenne's biggest inspiration in her life has been her mom and dad "because they always had a lot on their plate but always made sure we had the tools and opportunities to be the best we could be at everything we do in life," said the teen.

Cheyenne plays volleyball and basketball. "I like volleyball and basketball because although they are

team sports, I can still improve by putting in work by the team. The team atmosphere pushes me to get better so that we, as a team, can get better. I really like the energy that you can find within both volleyball and basketball games and the way the momentum can swing in favor of one team to the other in just a couple minutes," she explained. Her favorite sports team is the Lynx. Not only does she like sports, but she really likes art and working with kids. "I love to draw, paint and do almost any kind of crafts. I love to babysit, spend time with my family and friends, and go boating."

Cheyenne says she wants to be a teacher and a coach because she loves to interact with kids and loves how happy they get when they finally understand something new or when they are able to master something that they used to struggle with.

Cheyenne says the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her was taking a family vacation to Six Flags Great America in Chicago, Illinois when she was twelve. She says if there was one thing she could change on this earth, she would make food and water easier to access and harder to depreciate, worldwide.
