Full Force Honored at Annual Black Music Month Event
On Point Promotions’ Annual Black Music Month event honored R & B Legends Full Force. A special recognition was given to cancer survivor, Paul Anthony, who has dedicated his life to educating and empowering cancer survivors. The R & B Group has contributed over thirty years to the urban and pop music culture. Included in the event was a special awards presentation honoring the original members of the group, along with other celebrity guests who made appearances. A special screening of TV One’s first ever “Unsung Revisited,” featuring Full Force, was also presented, to pay tribute to the legendary group. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Paul Anthony Foundation (www.palivelife.org) and Youth Our Future (http://youthourfuture.org/).
Started in 2009, the annual event paid its first tribute to Michael Jackson with “Thriller Nights-A Black Music Month Tribute to the King of Pop and has grown. The event has become one of L.A.’s premiere events, representing black music month.
