Antwain “Young Twaun” released his new single “Change” featuring R&B Diva Chante Moore, on iTunes. The twenty-three year old Detroit native is issuing a Call-to-action to the Hip-Hop Nation to Unite for Justice, through his motivational anthem. As a young Black man in America and having grown up in an underserved inner city neighborhood, “Young Twaun” can relate to the pains felt by the families of victims who have been gunned down, due to senseless violence and police shootings. In the single, “Change,” it’s not only the rapper’s emotional cry for artists and communities to stand up against a war that’s bigger than just race, but to encourage his generation to stand up against injustice, violence, racism, police brutality and other social adverse. It channels some of his anger and hopelessness in regards to the latest tragedies, which have made news headlines, into positive action. The artist’s goal is to inspire a movement.
