say to people. Some of my lyrics are provocative, but not dirty. I consider myself a serious lyricist and it’s important for people to read my lyrics and get to understand or comment on my video and tell me or ask me “what are you trying to say here, because I don’t get it.” I have a song called The Absurdity of Pride. Immediately they have their own impression of what that means to them. As far as I’m concerned, I’m fine with that. Make it what you want, but if you want to know the true meaning, ask me because you may not be on point.

Evelyn: The thing is, you want them to talk and you want them to figure out each song. That’s why everybody will say, “I have this favorite.” You want them to say whatever they’re going to say. You’re going to have controversy, critics. The thing is you have to be big enough and strong enough musically to have that and appreciate it. You’re not a true musician or artist if you can’t deal with it. The way you’ve done your song, you’re going to have a lot of talk and that’s the main thing.

Fuzionz: Evelyn, elaborate on your upcoming concert and maybe give an estimate attendance that you are expecting.

Evelyn: I’m getting ready to go to New York/Rhode Island. I thank God and my fans. The music is going forward and they have to look forward to a new me, which is Dance All Night, from my brother, Johnny. I’m just excited. He’s put me back on the map, I might as well say. I haven’t left the map but he’s putting me back on the map for the youngsters; all ages, all genres; have a good time with the music and listen to the words, its party time. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to start traveling with my new single Dance All Night. I’m going to New York. I’m going to the U.K. I’m going to France and I’m getting ready to go to Stockton, California. Thanks to my fans out there who keep me going.
