In high school, Peggy was voted as the student body president and was Miss Teenage Black America Pageant’s 1st runner up. Peggy attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, upon receiving music and vocal scholarships. Ms. Dodson would later move to New York; thus falling in love with the Big Apple. She moved to San Diego, CA, for a short period of time, where she started Akenday Entertainment, a company that produces music, television and video projects, along with her successful community talk show “Economic Empowerment, which aired on Cox Cable.
