Q: What audience do you mainly target when writing?

A: I educate, motivate, and inspire from the mind body and spirit philosophy. When I write I target people who believe in this aspect that they are all connected.

Q: What advice would you give to those who are inspired to write?

A: If it’s in your heart write it. There’s someone that needs to hear your story it may help someone else on their journey. Learn as much as you can about writing. Always get a professional editor. Have a plan before the book is finished.

Q: Give us one of your favorite quotes or scriptures and why it’s your favorite.

A: I had a college professor to tell me that the only room that is never full is the room for improvement. I love this so much because we all have room to get better no matter where we think we are in life we have never really arrived. Even ones you may see better off or smarter they have room for improvement too. So just focus on yourself be the best version of yourself. I don’t have to be better than anyone just the best me!

Please tell us anything else you may want the readers to know.

I’ve been a hard worker since the age of ten years old learning the family business. I was taught to work for myself and give back to others at the same time. This what I love my life by. We can’t get ahead by wanting it so bad that we tear each other down to get it. Building each other up along creates loyalty, honor and character. When you reach the top you feel good about the way you arrived and the success that you have gained because you didn’t hurt anyone to get there. See you at the top!

Q: Tell me a little about who you are, outside of the writing scene.

A: Wife, mother and glamma who loves fashion! I enjoy watching movies at home while having a glass of wine. I enjoy the spa, pedicures, massages and just being a girl.

Q: At what age did you start writing? Please include your motivation or inspiration behind wanting to write.

A: I have been researching for about 13 years now. I always knew that I would write this book. So I decided about 2 years ago to share it with the world. Since then I’ve written some article for local magazines. My motivation in wanting to write is to share with the world information and knowledge that is lacking in this area of what affects the bloodstream also affects the hair.

Q: What types of stories do you write?

A: This is my only guide so far and it helps women to connect the dots on how their medical issues and hair issues are related. The articles are pretty much on the same thing just different ares. Next I plan on writing about my journey through it all.

Q: As an author, what has been your biggest challenges?

A: Getting my book out to the public. Being a first time author not having the guidance that I really need at this point to get my book in the hands of all those that need it.

Q: Tell us about your latest book and what motivated you to write it. Please include how you came up with the title.

A:My mother began losing her hair when I was about 5 years old and it was very traumatic for us both. She would go to doctor and they would tell her you're getting better and losing your hair is only a side effect. She would go into the salon and the stylist did not have answer either. When I became a stylist I began to see the same problem. Then as my life unraveled I had my own issues and their was not education in my field for this. So I self educated, came across a wealth of information and now I’m sharing with the world. The way I came up the title An Educational Guide to Healthy Hair, is that there is a step by step guide that you can follow to having a truly healthy head of hair. There are steps to restore and recover from damaged hair and loss.
