The Making Of A Singer

In 2015, Ms. Irene Rene is working on music now and looking for a brighter future, as she is just going with the flow. “I encourage everybody to do that and I hope they’re inspired and encouraged in some way. You know how all singers say, “I’ve been singing since I’ve been in my mother’s womb. I talk about a story: I was about five years old when I was in church and my older sister and another sister would get me to sing on Easter Sunday and I had stage fright. I would sing “This Little Light of Mine” and she would love it, but I didn’t make it to the stage. I chickened out and left my sister to sing the sung by herself,” cited the artist.

She attended college at Michigan State University; thereafter, she lived and worked in Birmingham, Alabama for a short period and transitioned to Yonkers, New York, where she currently resides. Ms. Irene Rene would later leave Corporate America to go back to school, but realized that she could no longer deny her dream anymore. That dream was to sing. The Indie-artist sang off and on for a long time, but began to get serious about it over the last five or six years. In 2012 is when she would she would say enough is enough and she wanted to move forward to put out her own album. With that mindset, she knew she couldn’t sit around and wait for a record company. In 2013, she put out her first independent album entitled Serendipitous Experience. "As a singer, I feel there is something that can be said. There’s a lot of struggles in life and music pretty much caters to that. It talks about real life issues, about love, pain. Keep pushing yourself to better yourself. I have those type of messages in my songs," said Ms Irene Renee.
