DJ INFERNORED

Fuzionz Magazine and TV stepped into the world of Super DJ Inferno Red...

DJ Inferno Red Washington was born and raised, by his grandmother, in Ft. Worth, Texas, in the Stop Six community. What makes this young man so special is that is declared as legally blind, yet he still doesn’t let this stop him from pursuing his dreams and accomplishing his goals. In our interview with DJ Inferno Red he relayed that he is also Albino and people have challenged him and told him that he “can’t do this” or he “can’t do that,” but his grandmother, who was also Albino, instilled in him that he could do whatever he set his mind to. She would always tell me, “You can’t worry about what someone says because people are going to say something, if you’re doing good or bad. People talked about Jesus,” cited the DJ. When he grandmother passed, DJ Inferno told me that he kind of paused for a little while from what I was doing, but he started back up and continued, feeling that his grandmother would be proud.

DJ Inferno remembers singing since he was old enough to talk. He also writes music. “The first song I wrote is when I was in the seventh grade. I wrote it for a little girl that I liked [laughing]. Around my junior/senior year in high school, I had some friends that I used to clown and play around with and we would sing. We were just being silly. No one knew that I could really sing. One day someone had started singing a song that I really liked and I started singing it and they said you can sing for real. [Laughing]. But my friends and I were always singing and doing our own thing. I’ll never forget, we were singing and a crowd of people were standing around listening to us and a guy and his daughter stopped. I didn’t know what they were about to do because the dad was a big dude, but they just listened,” said DJ Inferno. This made him feel good.

The year that DJ Inferno graduated, he would be approached by one of his friends which he sang with, at school, and asked to enter a talent show and he said, “Cool.” They would get together and form a group and perform at the MLK Center. That would be the first group, ever, that the DJ would perform with.

DJ Inferno started Fuzion Entertainment in 2010. The business did fairly well, but he would transition from it and start doing radio. The DJ started out at Fishbowl Radio Network, but was having a problem with transportation, which prompted him to do his own radio show from home. The talented DJ built his own studio inside of his living room. “The Lord blessed me with the resources to upgrade at home, so I didn’t have to stress on finding a way back and forward to Fishbowl. I’ve been doing Fuzion World Radio for maybe about a year and a half, but radio itself, I’ve been doing about three and a half years,” explained DJ Inferno. Your voice can be heard on Fuzion World Radio, as DJ Inferno interviews with those who want to be heard. He interviews with mainstream, up and coming artists, anywhere from R&B, gospel, rap and hip-hop. He says his biggest inspiration goes back to his grandmother, who showed him no matter what it is you want to do, you can do
