Soul Music Duo Joint Heirs made their feature film debut as cast members in THE IDENTICAL, a movie starring Ray Liotta and Ashley Judd. The Nashville based Duo (appearing as Darcey and Mo in the film), performing alongside actor Blake Rayne, take on the role of a soul juke joint group from the 1950’s. THE IDENTICAL showed on the big screen in movie theaters nationwide on September 5th. It is the story of a family broken apart by culture and tradition; a timeless tale of love, hope and restoration.
Not only did Joint Heirs appear in THE IDENTICAL, they also contributed soulful vocal talents to the movie soundtrack, which was available on September 2nd. In 2013, the group released their debut project THE SOLUTION, a collection of classic funk, old-school inspired soul and hot urban gospel sounds inspired by the love and hope of Christ, which included their popular "More To Life" single. Just recently, THE SOLUTION earned the group the 2014 Gospel Blue Mic Award for Urban Artist of The Year.
