Fuzionz: Tell us about one of your aha moments.

Gail: [Laughing] When I don’t have my mic on. An aha moment was a recent guest. Sean Damon, a former member of an 80’s band, Crusher. He left that lifestyle to pursue law enforcement and as he was doing that, he found that he had Motor Neuron Disease. The disease is a slow progressive disease, it’s like a form of Lou Gehgrig's. His heart and his revelation and his post on Facebook is so amazing. I believe people are in our lives for a reason and my aha moment was sitting there thinking wow, when you’re rushing and trying to get everything together for a show and you’re thinking things don’t go right, you have a show to go back to, but someone like him is trying to make the most of everyday and get the most out of every day and it was humbling. Between him and Ross those were the two aha moments. Life can be extremely bad, it can be extremely good and somewhere in between, you have to count your blessings and that was my aha moment.

Jeff: I guess for me just seeing Gail realize the dream and seeing this thing come to fruition because we planned and planned and worked and filmed and went back to the drawing board and try countless ways to accomplish something that we wanted and we re-invented, re-staged it and everything we could imagine. Just to see her be able to walk in that studio, sit down and put forth what we do now, I guess, is the aha moment for me because it has all come full circle for her; just to keep it going for the passion she has for what she does.

Gail: And Jeff keeps it humble and I really have to applaud him because we all can get crazy and

sure even with yourself, when all the guest want to come on, you don’t know when to stop and have that personal time for yourself.

Jeff: I think something missing from society today are family dinners and for me, having dinner with my wife a certain time of the day is important. For me, it’s kind of like our little sanctuary, close down the stress of the day and do that stuff that families do. I think it’s always real important to do that.

Fuzionz: What advice would you give to those who are seeking a career in the entertainment/television industry?

Gail: Be ready to accept any and all criticism. Make sure you encompass yourself with people who love you, people who believe in you and people who can see the vision past your own about you and just take all of the advice about you and let it resonate in your heart and in your mind. I thought I was going to be a singer but someone said that you either have to sing real good or you have to look real good, so now you see I’m the host of a show. [Laughing] You have to have that reality. I really suggest take criticism as an opportunity to grow. Get advice from as many people who are in the business. It would be a wonderful thing if you can have an open mind about it.

Jeff: Never ever slow down. That way you’ll never become complacent. Celebrate what you’ve accomplished and quickly move on. Plan your work, work your plan. Just never ever stop and that’s the best advice that I think I can give.
