Q: How has starting the organization helped you?

A: The Speak to Me organization has helped me to become a more giving driven individual. Currently, no one is financially compensated for their contributions, myself included. However, I dedicate countless hours and my personal funds to make sure all of our participants are served. 100% of the funds received goes directly to our campaigns and it brings me joy to be a servant. As a result of giving more, I am personally receiving more and my life feels more complete.

Q: Where do you see or where do you want to see Speak to Me in the next year or two?

A: I would like to increase our scope and reach more individuals. Currently, our Steps Against Bullying campaign is only offered in the DFW area and I would like to fulfill the request to expand to other communities. We would like see more collaborations with other groups and organizations to be able to offer even better services. We would also like to increase awareness of our mission in helping more and receive more support to do so.

Q: Give us some strong inspirational words of motivation to take with us for the future.

A: We all have something to do for ourselves. We have busy schedules and it doesn’t seem like we have the time to complete our own task; however, when you take a few moments to help someone else, somehow, you uncover your own strengths. Giving, even when you think you have nothing to give, is the best thing you can do for yourself.
