would be a great addition to the show, so he called her and the rest was history. According to Benet, he couldn’t have made a better choice with either of his show co-hosts.

Fuzionz: What has been one of your biggest challenges?

Benet: Keeping the show fresh. I’m glad we take breaks from the show. It gives us a chance to rejuvenate and miss each other, to find topics and find guests. Another challenge is the relevance because the internet is starting to come up really strong; relevance with artist who want to be on a traditional radio station, but we have no problem booking guests. I started this to have fun and the minute it stops being fun to us or to me, then that’s when the show stops. The biggest thing is to make sure we’re having fun and enjoying ourselves and are all on the same page. Another challenge is continuously finding ways for the show to relate to people.

Smiley

LaTressa Bagsy, also known as "Smiley" on the Benet Embry Radio show is a wife, the mother of three, grandmother to one grandson and a realtor. As you can see, outside of the show, LaTressa wears many hats. In our interview, she also told us that she exercises, does kick boxing and works out a lot at the gym to stay fit. She loves to

travel, she loves to shop and loves fashion. That's her, outside of the Benet Embry Radio show. Her alias, Smiley, on the radio show, takes on different roles. First, she is the musical director, in which she selects the music for the show.

“I try to base the music off of the topics that we’re talking about. If we have musical guests who come into the studio or call in, I try to base it off of what our topic with them will be, whether it’s old school or new. I also try and keep up with the latest singles that come out (R&B, Hip-Hop & etc.), the latest gossip on twitter or blogs and I also give fashion tips. I pretty much piggy-back on whatever the topics are,” said Smiley.

Being the only female on the show, Smiley gives her angle as a mother and wife, which gives the show a different spin. A lot of times she is the referee between Benet and James, when the two best friends voice their differences of opinions. She is the conscious part of the show. Benet described her in part of the interview as “the lady with the million dollar smile.”

Fuzionz: What has been your biggest challenge on the show?

Smiley: It definitely helps to take a break, because anyone can get burned
