Q: Where do you hope to see your magazines in the near future?

A: I long to see my Magazines on every News Stand worldwide and my Models known worldwide.

Q: Are you currently involved with any charitable organizations? If so, tell us briefly about your role.

A: I am a member at the LLS Foundation {Leukemia, Lymphoma Society} and I am now raising awareness for the March of Dimes, more particularly for the Mount Sinai New Born Intensive Care Unit, where both my Sons were born and treated because they were both born premature; one was 5mns 1lb and the other one was 7mns 3lbs. The Doctors and Nurses there are amazing to those babies and that is my new venture to bring awareness and support to them.

Q: Please give our readers some words of inspiration to take with them for future reference.

A: Never give up on your dreams, fight for what you believe in until there is no fight left in you.

Q: Where can those interested in reading/subscribing to your magazine find you?

A: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Plus-Size-Diva-Magazine

Now, ten months later, we have incorporated Men which is our Stud Magazine and Children which is our Little Stars Magazine {coming soon} to our editions and as a whole we are established internationally. We have our own Pageant which will take place in 2015, as well as being the proprietors of New York Curves Fashion Week, also coming in 2015.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge?

A: Finances; not having the proper resources and or Sponsors to bring my magazine and projects to the next level; however, that has not been an impediment for me to keep pushing and keep striving. Some people think that you can’t get anything done without money and even though it is greatly needed for everything look at everything that I have accomplished without it, the key is to continue to strive and not let anything hinder your dreams no matter how hard it may be.

Q: What motivates you to keep your magazines going?

A: My motivation every day is changing lives, having people come to me and say because of your magazine I am seeing life differently now. That makes all the difference in the world for me.

PSDM uses Fashion to educate people on topics such as childhood cancer, bullying, animal cruelty, etc.

We dress our Models according to the topic at hand hair and make – up the same, so people become captured by the essence of the fashion. Before you know it, they are reading the article and now they know about these topics and how to love themselves, which is our biggest conversational piece in every edition.
