HELL NO you don’t tell her she looks fat in anything. Why? Because she will never, ever, ever forget that you called her FAT. I know…you didn’t even call her fat. You simply answered her question truthfully. Besides the dress wasn’t making her look fat, it was the fat trying to escape that poor dress that was making her look fat. But because you have learned from experience that anytime you have said anything negative about her looks, you had to deal with it for the next month. Your bedroom, kitchen, and conversation froze over one statement. And anything that reminds her of it causes her to remind you of it. She was hurt because your image of her is important to her. The honesty wasn’t the issue, your delivery was. How she handled your misguided honesty trained you to lie. This is why you see so many women proudly latched on to their men dressed in these ridiculous outfits, looking like they have no friends. Talking about “My man like it!” No he don’t. He just didn’t wanna mess up his night. When your man asked you that question, “Am I the best you ever had?” and he isn’t, do you say no? HELL NO you don’t tell him that! Why? Because he will now want to interrogate you regarding every boyfriend you have ever had, walk around sulking like a kid that had to go to bed early, and his confidence in his ability to please you will be completely and utterly shot. And if he feels he is not able to please you, he will find one that makes him feel he is the best she has ever, ever had. So what do you do ladies? YOU LIE!
