Q Did you have anyone in particular who you looked up to while you were in service?
A As for who I kept in touch with in the Army, the first person who comes to my mind is my best friend and fellow Army retiree (Jonathan Hopkins). We entered the military together and I've know him since 2nd grade. I've met good friends over the years and had one of my brothers

Q Tell us about your experience in the military.
A My experience in the military started in personnel, working in a variety of assignments (Ft. Polk, LA/Korea/Ft. Bragg, NC); from personnel to Military Intelligence for the remainder of my career. I've spent time in Europe, Panama, and South America during my career.
Q What has been your biggest “aha” moment?
A My biggest "aha moment".... I really can't say. Perhaps being there for the births of my children; those are precious moments.
Q If you had the opportunity, would you re-enlist?
A Would I re-enlist if I could?? During this era, No!! I came in at the right time, and I thank God for seeing me through.
