There are those artists in the mainstream of the music industry who stand out, producing such a sound which music lovers instantly gravitate to. Fuzionz had the opportunity to interview with one of these artists; singer/songerwriter, TaMarah Esi, also known as the Soul Diva of Inspiration.
The Gary, Indiana native is becoming a household name. On November 12, 2013 she announced the EP release of For My Sistas, which charted its way to #2 on the Indie billboard. Since then, the song has been a hit among many. Parts of her life's story are told through this song. She has two previous albums out and has recently announced the release of Banger feat. MC ShaRock, on May 6, 2014.
Soul Diva Of Inspiration
TaMarah prepares to embark on a mission to enlighten and Inspire women, young and old, by exposing her journey, as a survivor of domestic violence, molestation, kidnapping, along with many more transitions from victim to victor by empowering women who have been through similar situations, through her music and her organization For My Sistas: Stand Tall Like Stilettos. As expressed, her songs are a testimony of her own life. “I chose the title FOR MY SISTAS because this particular song content relates to Issues that we as women face, which most time gets covered up. As a result…we proceed with our everyday life, never facing the issues nor getting resolutions.
