2015 soul train awards
This year's Soul Train Awards 2015 show was spectacular. The taping was held at the famous Orleans Arena here in Las Vegas on November 6 and everyone on the red carpet was dressed to kill. Bright lights, flashing cameras and media from every outlet was on deck. Fuzionz Magazine was thrilled to be a part of the frenzy, once again. From Erika Badu to Jill Scott, the women were all looking fabulous and the men were very handsome and dapper. I was able to land a couple of great interviews for Fuzionz, as well as chat with Tony Cornelius, (Don Cornelius’ son), Tevin Campbell, Mc Lyte, Vivian Green, singer Shanice and the legendary music group Cameo. Ms. Badu was the host and she really did her thing. Jill Scott was honored with the Lady of Soul Award and BabyFace received the Legend Award. There were multiple performers on the show, including Bobby Brown, Boys ll Men, Fantasia, Tevin Campbell, After 7, Avant and Cameo, just to name a few. The closing act was none other than R. Kelly. I believe this year's show was the best one yet! Please make sure you set your DVR on November 29th at 8:00pm, as Soul Train Music Awards will air on Centric and B.E.T. So grab a bag of popcorn and turn your phones off, because this is one show you have to give your full attention to.
