Crystal’s recent book titled “The Vicious Cycle: A Key to Unlocking the Revolving Door” is a practical guide to assisting others to change from a negative to a positive mindset and living. Her first book “From the Streets to the Skies No Limits: Diary of a Boss Lady” is in the process of becoming a short, independent film to inspire our youth to stay out of trouble and reach for greater goals through education and positive thinking.

“From the Streets objective is to become a reality show that broadcast the reality of the difficult journey of turning ex-offenders into social entrepreneurs, and an inside look into this vicious cycle in Hutchins Unit. From the Streets will capture the dynamic environment and outcomes of the Unlocking the Revolving Door System. In conclusion, From the Streets will be a positive reality show for families especially those whom have suffered due to mass incarceration. We are implementing a real solution into an unforgiving system designed to punish beyond serving time. Families are punished, children are punished, parents are punished, and so often the lives of the inmate is destroyed. Breaking free is difficult, but it can be done and we are here to assist individuals in breaking free for good with "The Unlocking the Revolving Door System."

Through her books, nonprofit organization for aspiring entrepreneurs and her entrepreneurship school, Target Evolution Entrepreneurship Institute, Crystal has been and is an inspiration to millions. Her good deeds don’t stop there, as she has also assisted in the development of the First Friday Program by Judge Jeanine Howard in Dallas County Criminal District Court #6, which assists young individuals in getting off probation, reducing the Dallas County inmate population. She is an investor level member of the Greater Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Girls Living Life on Purpose, Inc., which is a nonprofit organization for the empowerment and education of young women. Her future goals are to pursue her doctorate degrees in Business Administration and Business Law.
