BOUNCE TV'S "FAMILY TIME"
Family Time is a series, produced by Bentley Kyle Evans, which airs on Bounce TV. It depicts the lives of the Stallworth family and brings to its viewers the value of a real life family-type setting to TV. Omar Gooding plays Anthony, a struggling contractor and his wife Lisa, played by Angell Conwell, is a stay-at-home mom; both raising their children, Devin (Bentley Kyle Evans, Jr.) and Ebony (Jayla Calhoun) while facing the challenges of marriage and family life. In a brief interview with Omar, he told us that they try to keep the show authentic. When asked how it feels to bring value to a sitcom which portrays a real family setting, Omar said, "I love it. I grew up on Martin and The Bill Cosby Show." In our interview with Angell, she states, "With a lot of different programs on, I'm glad to portray a dynamic woman; a great representation of a strong black woman. It's a family vibe. Being on the set is good,; you feel comfort and you do your best work under those conditions." "This type of show is necessary. Reality shows aren't able to rerun. We have created good comfort comedy and this thing should outlive us," Bentley added.
Other characters include Tony’s older brother Todd, played by Chris Williams and Lisa’s feisty sisters Rachel, played by Tanjareen Martin and Lori, played by Paula Jai Parker.
