to
Lynzee Ford
This is a special dedication to Lynzee Ford, who lost her life, at the age of 17, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Back in January, Lynzee was diagnosed with a non-treatable form of the disease. With plenty of support from her mother, Valarie, along with other family members and friends, no matter how severe the illness was, Lynzee kept a positive mindset. Her motto was "Never Give Up."
After finding out Lynzee was only given a short time to live, her Kilgore High School classmates, along with staff members, gave Lynzee a special graduation ceremony on October 19th. During the ceremony, her principal revealed that in her thirteen years of enrollment at Kilgore ISD, Lynzee had “zero referrals.” She was an outstanding student.
On October 23, 2014, Lynzee passed away. She will be remembered in the hearts and minds of many. Follow the "I Love Lynzee Project" on Facebook.
